Highlighted by Stutzer’s own unique sound he calls “Jungle Pop,” the seven-song album coincides with the release of Stutzer’s lead single and new music video Initiation. “Jungle Pop is how I refer to my music,” says Stutzer. “It combines the influence of my own African and American heritage with a Caribbean vibe along with a mix of hip-hop and pop. There is nothing like it on the market, so my team and I came up with our own category for our music, and that’s jungle pop.” Stutzer, who has built a strong industry following and loyal fan-base, opened for hip-hop superstar Wale in Providence, RI in December, and later this week, will perform new songs from The Lush at the renowned SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 15th.
